Is there more than one level of managed account?

No, a partner account can have multiple managed accounts but a managed account cannot have its own managed accounts. For more information, see Partner Program Account Hierarchy.

Does a managed account receive a bill directly from Megaport?

No, managed account invoices are collated and billed to the partner account.

Does an end customer have access to their managed account?

Yes, if the partner has segregated the services into a separate managed account then they can create a user role that provides access for the end customer.

Can an end customer in a managed account access the partner account?

No, a managed account user can only access their own account and not log in upwards to the partner account or laterally to other managed accounts not owned by the end customer.

Does a managed account user have permission to associate with a reseller?

Yes, you can move between a partner reseller account and a managed account with approval from all parties (Megaport, the partner, and the end customer).

Can a managed user change the company name or billing market information?

No, only a partner account user can change the company name or managed account billing details.

Note

Partner account users that have been referred by a Distributor cannot access billing markets or invoices. The Distributor enables the billing markets and acts as the billing agent for all referred partners. All invoices go directly to the Distributor account.
